SQ-03 TELEMETRY, LIVE FROM HIS OWN RACK

The Lab

A private cloud that Salik Qazi runs on hardware in his own home: identity, media, music software and the orchestration underneath. Nothing rented:

THE COMPLETE NETWORK · 14 VERIFIED CAPTURES

Everything on the rack.

Every card is a real application capture. Music is open now; every protected lane stays off air until its Docker and browser smoke suite passes.

One key, every door

One single-sign-on layer in front of every service: one identity to manage, one door to lock. THE LONGER VERSION

A single-sign-on layer sits in front of every service in the lab (the streaming network, the music tools, the admin surfaces), so there's one identity to manage and one door to lock, not a scattered pile of separate logins.

It's the same instinct that runs through the automation work: the boring, correct plumbing that everything else depends on gets built once and built right.

  • 1 sign-on standing in front of every app on the platform
  • 3 isolated Docker networks separating public traffic, auth internals and the orchestrator
  • 0 raw Docker socket access, which the orchestrator avoids reaches Docker only through a scoped proxy

A television network, population: family

A real streaming platform built and run for the household, watching its own signal and catching a feed that degrades before anyone notices. THE LONGER VERSION

Underneath is a genuine streaming platform: an IPTV and media network Salik built and runs for family, not a hobby project pretending to be one.

It watches its own signal: each channel is health-sensed continuously, catching a feed that's degraded or gone dark before anyone watching notices. It behaves like real broadcast infrastructure because that's what it's built to be.

  • 24/7 a self-hosted television network running for the household, health-graded per channel by his own sensors
  • 2 clients built and retired before the current one; the survivor is the one people actually use

Music software & the container orchestrator

The lab builds its own tools rather than renting them: music software, an AI studio, and the orchestrator holding it all together. THE LONGER VERSION

The lab also builds the tools it needs rather than buying them: ApproachableMusic, "Music Made Easy", is original software for writing and producing music with less friction, paired with an AI studio for the parts of that workflow worth automating.

Holding all of it together is a container orchestrator Salik wrote himself, provisioning and managing every service the lab runs: the same self-hosted, own-your-stack approach applied at the infrastructure layer.

  • 12+ services deployed and operated end-to-end: identity, streaming, music, AI studio, automation, observability
  • $0 third-party cloud hosting; every service runs on owned hardware behind a single tunnel
  • 1 push to main is the deploy; CI builds the images and recreates the containers
